NovaBug first started in mid 99 and was hosted on my free-web space on Virginnet, with the old URL: http://freespace.virginnet.co.uk/rich.dale/NovaBug/Index.html which no longer works since Virgin changed their servers.
This old site used the URL www.novabug.com as a re-direct to take you to the long URL above.
Since early in 2001, NovaBug has been on it's own domain of www.novabug.co.uk with the old URL novabug.com now pointing to the .co.uk domain.
Having it's own domain with unlimited space has enabled the site to grow with much more content such as the high-quality brochure scans. The new domain is also much more reliable than the old Freespace from Virgin was.
Before NovaBug, I had a site dedicated to my Novas, which was started in mid 96 and was hosted on my freespace at Uni. When I got my own internet connection at home, I got my freespace with Virgin and moved my Nova site onto that.
I had the idea of doing NovaBug to run alongside my own personal Nova site, but decided in the end to combine the two, although NovaBug does not include anywhere near as much info on my Novas, as my old dedicated site used to.
You may be wondering "if NovaBug has been around so long, how come I've only just found it"....well, it's been more as a hobby for me to practise my web-design skills, so haven't advertised it. It's only in recent times that people have learnt of it's existence since I've advertised it more to people.
